Such excitement today with the tsunami warning for Hawaii. Thankful that it was only just excitement and not disaster. Kudos to KFVE on their coverage, strategically placing a camera overlooking coconut island to watch the surges as they rolled in. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the Hilo Bay Web Cam link to work - server too busy.
Overall, it was a great learning experience for my son, who watched things unfold. Learning about Chile, earthquakes, how tsunamis are made, being ma'a to the ocean. Now I'll go outside in the beautiful sunshine and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
